NEW ADDITION TO THE #ALGIECEL FAMILY!!
Anna Keisha Boateng will be joining ALGIECEL as a student assistant for our pilot project at the facilities of the Danish Technological Institute.
We asked Anna to introduce herself:
“I’m born and raised in Denmark, but as most people can tell, I’m also mixed with Ghanaian. I’m 25 years old. ‘
My bachelor degree is in Sustainable Biotechnology (Aalborg University) and I’m currently doing my master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at DTU – Technical University of Denmark.
I will be working as a student assistant at ALGIECEL where my tasks will be sampling, analysis, and algae cultivation (e.g. preparing growth medium and handling dry weight samples).
I decided to apply for a job at ALGIECEL due to my background in sustainable biotechnology. I love bioinformatics, but from time to time I also miss being in the lab. When I read that the job would involve being in the lab with ALGIECEL being focussed on sustainability, I was sold.
I am very glad that I got the position so that I can now re-kindle my passion for sustainability.”
