Álvaro Pazo Vila starts Industrial PhD WITH #ALGIECEL and DTU Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, supported by a #Grant from Innovation Fund Denmark.
We asked Alvaro to introduce his work:
“Hi 👋🏼 I am Álvaro and I have recently graduated from my MSc in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at DTU – Technical University of Denmark.
I had the luck to already start my journey with ALGIECEL during my time at DTU, first during an industrial internship, and then as part of my MSc thesis. Now, I am happy to announce I am starting an industrial PhD with ALGIECEL and DTU Kemiteknik.
In my project, I will be focusing on improving #Microalgae #Photobioreactor process #Performance and #Stability through #FirstPrincipleModels, delving into the coupling between microalgae #Metabolism and #Hydrodynamics. I am going to investigate how to implement them into the #ControlSystem of the photobioreactor, driving the process towards #FullAutomatization.
